Day 1.: Arrival Day in Athens.
Arrival at Athens airport. Meet your English - speaking driver and transfer to your hotel for check in. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2.: Breakfast and Athens City Tour. Overinght in Athens.
08:00 - 09:00 AM After breakfast, depart from hotel to House of Parliament ("Vouli") at Syntagma Square, where you will see the Monument of the Unknown Soldier and the change of the famous Evzones Guards. A pleasant walk through the National Gardens will follow and on to the Zappeion Hall, the Temple of Zeus and the Hadrian’s Arch. From here you will enter the Plaka area heading to the Acropolis, where you will visit with your professional guide the Propylaia, the Temple of Nike and the Parthenon, the monuments that remind us the glory of ancient Athens and the Golden Age of Pericles. See also in the surrounding the Athenian Agora, the Observatory, the Hill of Democracy (Pnyx), Mars and Philoppapos Hills, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Theater of Dionysos. At 13:00 Pm return to hotel.
Note: At the end of the tour and since you are so close- do not miss the opportunity to visit the new Acropolis Museum on your own.
Day 3.: Breakfast and Depar for Meteora Tour. Overnight in Olimpia.
08:00 - 09:00 AM After breakfast, dpart from Athens for the Corinth canal (short stop). Drive to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics. Proceed to Nauplia (short stop) and through the plain of Argos arrive to Myceane. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon (optional stop for souvenirs) depart for Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games. Overnight stay in Olympia.
Day 4.: Breakfast and Depart from Olimpia to Delphi.
08:00 - 09:00 AM After breakfast, depart from Olimpia to Delpli and via visiting the archaeological site with the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Depart via PATRAS (short stop) to RION, cross the Corinthian bay by the bridge to ANTIRION. Pass by the city of Nafpakros and from there on, along the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova. Overnight stay in Delphi.
Day 5.: Breakfast, Depart from Delphi to Kalambaka. Overnight in Kalambaka.
08:00 - 09:00 AM After breakfast at the hotel depart from Delphi to Kalambaka and Visit the archaeological site, and, the Museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka via Central Greece (short stop by Lamia). Overnight stay in Kalambaka (a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks and crowned by the Meteora Monasteries). Overnight in Kalambaka.
Day 6.: After breakfast, Depart from Meteora to Athens. Overnight in Athens.
08:00 - 09:00 AM Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit the BYZANTINE MONASTERIES. Return to Athens passing the heroic monument of Leonidas of Sparta at Thermopylae. Overnight in Athens.
Day 7.: Breakfast, Depart for the Airport.
After breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
