Day 1.: Arrival to Samsun.

Today you can make our own way from Istanbul to Samsun that you can use turkish airline from Istanbul to Carşamba Samsun then continue to Hotel. Check in to Hotel. Relax overnight.

Day 2.: Samsun City Tour.

Today after breakfast, you can start to discover city of Samsun. There are lots of sites to discover in the city such as

Amisos Hill King Tombs (İlkadım): In Samsun center, Ilkadim – Cedit district, during a road widening work, workers saw a hole and just after inform Museum researchers on Tuesday, November 28, 1995. Researchers started to work immediately and they found ruins of Ancient Amazon city. Researches showed that it is a big family grave room, there were 5 tombs, 3 of them used, 2 of them empty.

Asarkale ve Rock Tombs (Bafra): The castle where located in 30 km. southwestern part of Bafra province, is in Kızılırmak basin and near the Altınkaya Dam. Asarkale which goes to Hellenistic period was built up for defense aim. By the way, three carved into main stone cenotaphs supposed to be belonged the same period.

Twin-Hills, İkiztepe (Bafra): Kızılırmak River basin has 7000-year cultural heritage coming today since 5000 B.C. During this very long period, it has hosted various cultures located here. By an ongoing archeological excavations in basin, Twin-Hills site, 57 mounds, 6 locations, 25 archaic ages and ruins, 48 tumulus, 5 sepulchers, 3 graveyards where the biggest one in Anatolia, 1 castle, 1 bath and 1 bridge has been exhibited since 1974.

Nerik Antik Kenti (Vezirköprü): Nerik (Hittite: Nerikka) was a Bronze Age settlement to the north of the Hittite capitals Hattusa and Sapinuwa, probably in the Pontic region. The Hittites held it as sacred to a storm god, who was the son of Wurušemu, sun goddess of Arinna. The weather god is associated or identified with Mount Zaliyanu near Nerik, responsible for assigning rain to the city.

Return to Hotel. Overnight in Samsun.

Day 3.: Breakfast and Check out from hotel.

Free Day in the morning and in the afternoon. You can fly back to Istanbul.
