10 Day Egypt Tour Package Description

Day 1.: Arrival Cairo – Welcome to land of the Pharaoh’s. (Welcome Drink)

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around The Clock), met on arrival to Cairo, Egypt, you will be picked up from Cairo Airport and transfer to your hotel in Cairo. Upon arrival and Check into hotel. Rest of the day is free and relax in Cairo.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2.: Pyramids and Cairo Tour. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, and then met by your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus and Sphinx then to the Valley temple facing the great statue. Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant in Cairo, then move on to visit the Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen. Proceeding to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Back to hotel.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3.: Fly to Luxor. Transfer to Nile Cruise. Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Early in the morning check out from hotel to Cairo Airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival to Luxor, transfer to Nile Cruise to embark Sonesta St. George Nile Cruise. Have your lunch on board before setting sail to Esna. Free time at leisure with Afternoon Tea and Captain’s Welcome Cocktail on board the cruise ship.

Dinner and overnight on board Nile cruise in Esna.

Day 4.: Edfu Temple and Sail to Kom Ombo. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast on board while sailing to Edfu at the morning, then have a visit to Horus Temple in Edfu, the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. Back to the Nile cruise boat to continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board with afternoon Tea and Free time at leisure. Dinner on board with enjoying Egyptian Galabya party.

Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 5.: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours. Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

In the Early morning sail to Aswan while enjoying your Breakfast on board. Then you will be picked up to enjoy a day tour to the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae. Lunch will be served on board the Nile cruise, then enjoy Sailing on the Nile by felucca boat around the botanical garden. Back to the cruise for dinner on board with Belly dance show and Egyptian folkloric show.

Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6.: Aswan to Abu Simbel Optional Tour. Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast on board your Nile cruise with free time at leisure in Aswan.

Optional Tour..!

Optional tour to Abu Simbel Temple. It takes about 3 hours driving from Aswan to Abu Simbel by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Arrive to Abu Simbel, see the impressive Temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, which is dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II. Then return to your Nile Cruise in Aswan. Free time at leisure, then have your dinner on board and enjoy a Nubian Show.

Day 7.: Sail to Kom Ombo Temple / Sail to Esna. Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Depart and sail from Aswan to Kom Ombo while having your breakfast on board, then enjoy a guided visit to the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Back to the Nile Cruise to set sail to Edfu with lunch on board. Continue sailing to Esna, with afternoon tea on board.

Day 8: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions. Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Sail to Luxor with breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, then head out to enjoy a guided tour to the West bank of the River Nile in Luxor to visit Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the powerful Egyptian queen, and the Colossi of Memnon. back to the cruise with lunch, dinner.

Day 9: Luxor Nile Cruise / Back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast on board, then disembarke your Nile cruise in Luxor and enjoy a guided tour to the East Bank of Luxor, visit the magnificent Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple. Lunch will be served in a good quality restaurant in Luxor.
Later on you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted at the airport then escorted to your hotel nearby Cairo Airport.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10: Cairo / Fly Back Home.

Breakfast at the hotel with free time at your leisure, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Hotel Rating in Egypt:

Kindly note that the hotel rating in Egypt is not the same as in USA or Europe, so 5* hotels are always recommended. The 3* & 4 * hotels aren’t recommended as we receive complaints from our guests about them.

Travelling by overnight train NOT RECOMMENDED:

We don’t recommend it, it takes15 to 18 hours on a very noisy train. The toilets are not good and smelly. Food is not good in general. Beds: moderately comfortable. Comment from a client: “However, I am 6’0″ (183 cm) tall and barely fit into the bed — anyone taller would have to curl up.”

If you don’t fancy travelling by overnight sleeper train then upgrade to our flight option. Enjoying extra nights of comfort in 5* hotel accommodation. Cruise schedules may change due to some sailing reasons. We guarantee that you will do all the mentioned sights, but the order may vary.

We provide you with your visa upon arrival, at 35 $ per person.

Payment policy

We accept all methods of secure payment: Visa, Mastercard, direct bank transfer or cash.

Cancellation policy

We will always seek to refund you, should your circumstances cause you to have to cancel your holiday. Instead of cancellation, you can also choose to simply delay and book new dates.

1- In case of cancellation more than 30 days before the date of the tour you will get your full refund; unless your package included non refundable flights.
2- If less than 30 days, we will check with the hotel and the cruise to see how much they will charge us and inform you of the deduction we will be forced to charge you.

Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound.The prices quoted per person per tour all inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the lowest price possible. Once your tour is confirmed we guarantee the price will not be changed.

Additional Entry Tickets

All tours don’t include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as walking inside one of the pyramid to see the deep burial chambers and the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo or to enter the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor are also available at extra cost. These are the circumstances for all tourists to Egypt with all companies. We will sell you the tickets at cost price, with no profit to ourselves should you wish to purchase any.

Domestic Flights:

Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase an extra ticket.

Time & Voltage

Egypt is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Standard voltage is 220 volts. Primary

sockets require the European, 2 pronged variety. We recommend that you pack a universal travel

adaptor. You will need a voltage converter, and plug adaptor in order to use U.S. appliances

Essential Packing

Comfortable, flat (preferably covered) shoes are needed for the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. Pack flip flops/sandals to wear aboard the Nile felucca or Nile Cruiser.
